I will gladly visit your home daily or per your instructions to feed, water, clean, and check on your small pets. Your pets will avoid the stress of moving them out of their happy home environment, and you will have a more worry-free vacation.

7 days/week/holidays OK. Free initial consultation.

Pet Sitting Daily Rate: Reasonable. Inquire. Discounts available for seven-days-in-a-row sitting dates.

Extras Included Free: Making your home look lived in while you are away, bringing in your mail and paper, watering your plants, turning your lights off/on, sweeping up seed/debris around your pet area, medicating your pet, feeding pets, cleaning cages & cat pans.

Daily Rate is Based on:

1. One typical daily visit for up to 3 pets (or 3 cages)

2. Additional charge for:

A. Number of pets (or cages) over 3

B. Muliple visits in one day

C. Special, out of the ordinary services requested; i.e., cleaning up rugs from your pet's accidents, "super" scrubbing bird cages, emergency trips to your vet (gas reimbursement), etc.

D. Mileage charge outside of the four-city area noted above.

Will We Board your Pet? Pet Sitting By Fran specializes in home visits, but we do have one Boarding Room with space for 1-2 small bird cages set aside for boarding one client's birds at a time (for budgies, finches, cockatiels, conures -- if the cage is small). We have no extra space for large parrot cages, so we would prefer to do home visits to take care of your parrots and cats.

Do we walk/watch Dogs? No, so sorry.

Do we care for reptiles, amphibians, any pet on a live animal diet?

No. We are unfamiliar with the care of these species of pets.

My Pet Care Experience:

I have been an Animal Care Specialist for over 30 years. I have raised and owned cats, dogs, birds, parrots, goldfish, tropical fish, mice, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs. I previously bred pedigreed Persian cats. I also run a parrot rescue organization and am involved in the APL's catch-and-release stray cat program.

Prices and services are subject to change. Pet Sitting by Fran reserves the right to refuse service for any reason. Pet services do not include cleaning out aquariums, super scrubbing cages (extra charge), or home housekeeping chores. We require at least 48 hours' notice to check on your pet.
